MY “CLAIM TO FAME”
- Voice of Ash on “Pokémon” since 2006.
- Also voice others including: Buneary, Starly, Staravia, Staraptor, Burmy, Misdreavus, Roselia, Roserade, Chancey, Wigglytuff, Dawn’s mom, and Ash’s mom. Various human guest characters over the seasons as well.
- I’ve been on panels at Comicon, and have autographed a few tummies.
NUSYA, MY ALTER-EGO/HIGH FASHION MODEL
- Agency represented high fashion model. (5’9”, 32”-24”-34”)
- Work primarily in editorials and runway. I never shoot anything categorized as “glamour, fetish, nude, pornographic” etc.
- I walked in shows at NY Fashion Week in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 (S/S 09, F/W 09).
SARAH NATOCHENNY, THE “QUADRUPLE THREAT”
- Studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute (young actors program).
- Studied long-form/musical improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theaters.
- Helped create and perform the improv show “Reality TV Live!” in NYC for a year.
- Classically trained singer (choral, chamber, solo, legit musical theater).
- Ballet classes make me feel like a pre-teen again and I love it.
- Theater dance classes make me feel like Liza Minelli and I love that too.
WEE CHENNERS, THE OVER-ACHIEVER
- Rhythmic gymnast for 8 years; Junior Olympic Bronze Medalist (retired).
- My father is a concert pianist…I will always regret quitting. (not retired!)
- I was placed in the senior chorus upon arrival at high school. I was the little runt with all the solos.
- I’m fluent in Russian, and decent in German and French.
- I’ve traveled to most European countries…yet have never been to Chicago.
- I won a major Spelling Bee in the second grade. The word was “concoct.”
MY ATTEMPT TO BULLET-POINT MY LIFE:
- I live by Union Square in Manhattan. I love to travel, but I love my apartment more.
- I have a loving cat named Musia.
- Coffee-wise: I went from 100 to 0 in two days flat.
- I love Thai/Fusion restaurants.
- I’m quite cynical, yet I manage to romanticize everything.
- I was always the youngest one in the room…until I started modeling with 14 year olds.
- Nusya is my lifelong Russian nickname. I hated it until modeling made it cool. I’m often dubbed “Chenners,” mostly by the improv community.
